Nowadays, Alliance rules this server with over 70% of the realm's population. The server has its benefits and drawbacks that go with any other server. It looks like Dalaran-WoW is going to be launching a fresh WoTLK server and that the original realm, Algalon, will be used as an archive server. Likely with each fresh server release, the old will be merged into Algalon. The new server name appears to be Dalaran. I love Silvermoon ( I am pve alliance): mixed origin players, very competitive, friendly players, possible to make a lot of money from AH, good guilds, friendly environment overall Go for Silvermoon/Ravencrest. This will give you the widest selections of guilds to join, and the healthiest auction house, and there are really no negatives.
